Lao Heritage Hotel separates its garbage and recycles aluminum cans, plastic and glass bottles.  The flower arrangements used throughout the property are handpicked from the garden, ensuring they are not grown using pesticides and other chemicals. Bed linen and other laundry are hung dry instead of machine dried. This cuts down on energy consumption as well as preserves the life of the linen, reducing excess waste.
